Privacy
Your practice’s information stays yours.
Run My Practice is software for running the business side of a dental practice. Here is what it keeps, why, and how to get it back or have it deleted. Last updated October 2026.
What we keep
- When you ask for access: your name, email, practice name, and any message you send.
- Your account: your name, your email, and your password in scrambled (hashed) form. No one, including us, can read your password.
- Your workspace: what you and your team enter, such as scorecard numbers, issues, actions, Rocks, meeting notes and audits.
- Team reports: what your team sends from your practice’s team link, and the sender’s name if they give it.
What we don’t want
Run My Practice is not a patient record system. Please don’t enter patient names or health information. Team report forms remind people of this.
How it’s used
To run your workspace, keep you signed in, and reply to your requests. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising, and the site has no advertising trackers.
Cookies and your device
One sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Your browser also remembers a few small preferences on your own device, such as a checklist you hid.
To stop automated spam, we keep a one-way code made from your network address, never the address itself.
Where it’s stored
With established cloud services: Vercel hosts the site, and the data is kept in a Neon database. Each practice can only see its own records.
Your choices
You can download a copy of your practice’s records anytime from Settings in the app. To have your account and practice deleted, ask us and we will do it.
Questions
Send a message through the request form on our home page, and we’ll reply by email.
